Our family recently enjoyed a delightful four-night break at Silverstone House, and I'm eager to share our experience. Situated within walking distance of the beachfront and town centre, the location was perfect for our needs. The uppermost friendly welcome from Sue and Trevor eased our initial nerves, making us feel right at home. Room 8 had a modest view across the playing fields, and, though the property is a period building with steep steps, we managed just fine. We appreciated the mini-fridge in the room, especially during the recent heatwave, and the shower was impressively powerful after a long day of exploring. One of our highlights was the fabulous breakfast; each morning, Sue would cheerfully announce, the plate is very hot, which really appealed to our family. We took a trip to the nearby Gt Yarmouth Race Course, which offered us a fun day out that the kids loved. While Silverstone House may not exude luxury, it provided everything essential for our family's stay, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We're already considering a return visit, as it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for families seeking a seaside getaway.
